Woo, so today's my birthday, for all you who didn't know.

Of course, I'm in CA right now, so most of you East Coasters probably won't be reading this journal until tomorrow, but oh, well.

Since this is public and all, and all my friends know how old I am, for the rest of you, let's just say I'm 734, yepyep. :3

So actually, I thought California would suck because it meant missing my birthday and two TAI concerts I could've gone to, but it was actually pretty good. Of course, the trip up was miserable and the trip back tomorrow will probably be similar, but that's life. On Friday I went on a major shopping splurge; I got this one hoodie at this obsolete store that doesn't exist where I live and got 3 t-shirts and a hoodie at Hot Topic, which proves to be a hell of a lot better than the one around Cen Penn. There was also this really nice guy there with a really cool hat and awesome hair who gave me 15% off just because it was my birthday that weekend. :3 And the next day I went back and bought some other stuff.

TODAY, however, I woke up and my mom gives me her camera as my first present. Damn, I was surprised! xD And then my aunt gave me Iron Man, 2-disc special edition, which my dad and I are gonna watch when I get back. My other aunt gave me this AWESOME navy shirt with an eagle head on it that says, "PROPERTY OF COLBERT NATION." Like the Colbert Report? I know, right? I was like, "WIN." Imma wear it on a day we have ACT and be like, "See this, David? Who's better now, Jon Stewart or COLBERT NATION! WUTNAO."

Andandand we went kayaking (my first time ever), which proved to be a really kickass experience despite the fact it killed my arms and shoulders for two hours afterward and got my butt really wet. Still, my aunt found this huge orange starfish and there were seals and sea otters, like, ten feet from the boat and SO many birds. Seriously. I was like, "There's a number for this. A zillion."

No, but I really said that.

So yeah, so far my birthday is pretty rockin'.
